Good judgement to avoid TROUNCERS, Mike, tempting though it was. I like GRANGE as an answer, incidentally. (Oh, and there's only one O in round 4, so MOTTOS would not have been acceptable.)
Victor: Nice work with NEGATOR -- I felt there was a seven from those letters, but could not unravel it. Also with INSPIRE, and interesting that INSPIRER is valid. Always hard to tell what will and won't get the nod! That's a nice after-time solution to the 982.
Nice numberwork, Louise. Unfortunately the Macquarie strikes again, as SPIKIER is not listed. No idea why SPINIER is and SPIKIER isn't, but that's the Macquarie for you.
